Express Entry System

The main pathway for skilled workers to obtain permanent residency is through the Express Entry system, which manages applications under three federal economic immigration programs:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)

Provinces and territories can nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in living in a particular province.
